However, going through either door leads to the same tip page appearing. The first level of the Valley of Defilement is the only location that has two alternative fog doors that can be passed. The tutorial Vanguard tips require you to pause the game with camera mode in order to get enough time to view them. Tips are accompanied by short videos to help describe the phenomenon they are mentioning. Some bosses have slightly modified names in the tips compared to what is displayed on their health bar. If anyone finds any more tips that I did not or sees an error in what I wrote here, please let me know. There appears to not be specific tips on world tendency events or character quest lines outside of a handful of mentions. I left out playtime estimates for bosses (all say they will take “About 5 Minutes”) and their rewards (just their boss demon soul). Below, I provided all the tips I have found. You can not view notes to previous sections of a level unless you start the play through over or use another character.
#ESO MAELSTROM DAGGER UPDATE#
They are given upon entering a new world and will update with each fog gate that you pass (barring the first one encountered in the tutorial). These can be accessed by pressing the PS button on the controller and viewing the game’s activities. What is the best way to get the crushing wall staff/is it obtainable through normal VA? I read that you can take breaks between the rounds, but does that mean I have to keep the character logged in or can I finish round 2, log off to run errands for a few hours (this is all hypothetical), then pick up with round 3? I know that your timer keeps running, which directly affects your score, but does that have any effect on your loot? Since I have your attention I might as well ask. The last thing I wanted to make sure I know before another VA run is about taking breaks between rounds and how score affects your loot. How is that any different from regular MA? Is it a higher chance of getting the same maelstrom weapons or are there specific maelstrom weapons you can only get on veteran mode? Does vMA give different sets for completing each round than normal mode? Is a maelstrom weapon guaranteed on the last boss in normal VA or is it a chance? When I look up rewards for completing vMA, it just says that there's a chance to get a maelstrom weapon. This seems believable because I got the maelstrom bow from a normal run last night (first run) on the final boss. The page about the crushing wall (the weapon I'm after) says it can drop on either normal or vet. One guide said that you need to run vMA for a chance to get a maelstrom weapon. I've been reading guides and general information about the maelstrom arena and I'm still confused about some things.
